How do I create or edit goals for subordinates?
- Log into your LSS account and go to Performance >> My Team Performance Dashboard. Select the correct performance cycle from the cycle switcher on the top right corner
- Here click on the goal period on the left for which you wish to create goal plans on behalf of your reportees.
- Click on the View All Goal Submissions. Here you will get the list of reportees who have submitted their goal plans for approval.
- To create/Edit a goal plan go to Actions >> Add/Edit Goal Plan. Here you need to select the employee from the list for whom you wish to create the goal plan.
- You will be taken to the My SMART Goals tab of the employee's performance profile
- Click on "+ Create SMART Goal". SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. As a best practice, it is suggested that you describe your goals keeping these parameters in mind.
- You will be prompted to enter the SMART Goal Name, Goal Metric Label, Weightage, Status, Start Date & End Date. For users acquainted with our old PMS module, SMART Goal Name and Goal Metric Label are similar to KRA & KPI respectively.
- Next, you may have to enter the Goal Category, Target, Achieved, and other custom fields too. The LSS Performance Module implementation for your Organization may differ from the features are described here. Also, the screenshots shown here may also differ from what you see in your portal. Please reach out to your HR Team for any specific queries
- Once you are done adding the goal plan you can save the goal plan by clicking the Save button. Then you can click on the Submit for Approval button to send the goal plan for approval. If you are the only approver or final approver, the goal plan will get auto-approved. If you are part of a multiple level approval & there are approvers after you in hierarchy then the goal plan will be pending for approval at the next approver
- The sum of weightages of all goals must be equal to 100%
